svn:ignore issue

Oct 1, 2009 at 1:47 PM

Hi folks,

I'm wondering why SvnBridge creates files called ..svnBridge on the TFS. This happens if I compute the svn command svn:ignore. When I check the sources next time I get the ..svnBridge files physically. Additionally I can't build with maven I there a kind of that files in the repo.

Is this a configuration issue, or whats going wrong or maybe there's a workaround for this.

I`m using svnBridge v5.

I am also wondering this and if there is a way to turn it off but still get the ability to ignore files

You can cloak those folders in TFS (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms181378%28VS.80%29.aspx), so these will be ignored when you get latest version. I don't know whether it's posiible to cloak those automatically on creation, but anyway it could be a good idea to create an issue for that - automatic cloaking of ..svnBridge folders.
